FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does KINSORA matcha come from?
Our matcha is sourced from Uji, Japan — a region renowned for producing some of the world's finest matcha.
Is your matcha ceremonial grade?
Yes. Our matcha is carefully selected for its smooth texture, natural sweetness, and rich umami.
Is your matcha stone-milled?
Yes. Our tea leaves are traditionally stone-milled into an ultra-fine powder to preserve flavour, aroma, and colour.
Preparation
How do I prepare a matcha latte?
We recommend:
- 4 g matcha
- 40 g water
- 140 ml milk of choice
- Sweetener to taste
First, sift the 4 g of matcha powder into a bowl then make a smooth paste with 10 g of water. Add the remaining 30 g of water and whisk until frothy. Pour milk over ice in a separate glass, add sweetener, then pour the matcha on top.
Can I drink it hot?
Absolutely. KINSORA can be enjoyed hot or iced.
What type of milk works best?
Whole milk and barista-style oat milk pair especially well with our matcha.
Do I need a bamboo whisk?
A bamboo whisk creates the smoothest texture, but a handheld frother or shaker can also work.
Freshness & Storage
How should I store my matcha?
Store it in a cool, dry place away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. We recommend to keep it refrigerated after opening.
How long does matcha stay fresh?
For the best flavour and colour, we recommend consuming it within 1–2 months of opening.
Why is my matcha packaged in an inner pouch?
The inner pouch helps preserve freshness by minimizing exposure to air, light, and humidity. We recommend keeping the matcha in the pouch while storing it inside the tin.
